Golf club brands: What's your favorite?

The world of golf has a wide variety of products and brands. You can get a basic set of golf clubs for a few bucks while you will find some very specific, taylor made clubs for several thousands of dollars. But the golf industry is not only about the clubs. If you want to start playing you will need shoes, a bag, a good set of balls, a package of tees, probably a pair of gloves as well as some other accessories.

The most important thing before buying anything is what you are looking for, how much knowledge of the game you have and how much money you are willing to spend. For example, Nike is a great brand around the world and it has become very popular (specially after sponsoring Tiger Woods for so many years). However, players who are really into golf know that Nike aims to the general audience rather than the elite, more sophisticated players.

Yoga basics. A great activity for body and mind.

Yoga is a great activity for your body, mind and spirit. But don't think it's easy because you might get surprised. Here are some examples of the exercises you have to perform:

Utthita Pada Sirsasana
Adho Mukha Svanasana

Soccer positions, formations and more tactic concepts.

If you have any questions about the strategy a team uses to beat another, you came to the right place. Soccer is a game where 11 players try to beat another group of players (the same number) putting into practice the concepts trained during the week.

So how is a coach able to teach all the abilities required to make a team work well together? The most important thing is that players need to have good physical and technical principles in order to understand what the coach is trying to teach them.

Running for beginners. A chronicle.

So you decided to take your first steps in the amazing world of running. Great! You went to your favorite retail store and bought those beautiful shiny sneakers, which that kind lady told you were the last trend.

You set your alarm last night but you wake up just before the beeping started, you get dressed in a hurry with your new gear (including the new ipod nano), you are full of energy and think that the 41 Fahrenheit won't stop you.

You drive towards the nearest park, you have been told that it is a great place to run. Once you are there, you start wondering:
- "Should I stretch?" You think.
- "How much time should I run?"
- "Should I walk first?"

How to get six pack. Tips to obtain your dreamed abs.

Today I want to talk about a subject that has been in our heads for a while now: abdominal training.

Everyone who has ever been to a gym or who exercises regularly has spent some time doing abs. It has become a part of their routine. But, have you been getting the results? Do you have a flat stomach or that six pack you so desperately want?

Where can you find a good marathon training program?

If you have been searching for a marathon training program online, you might have found a lot of information. Perhaps more than you can handle.

Finding an excessive number of sites telling you that they will help you to become the greatest runner ever is simply overwhelming. I am sure that everything is useful to some degree and might help you to improve your performance in this type of competition. As a result, I decided to talk about a training program I found which I think is really helpful because of its content.

What it takes to be a good soccer player?

Almost every kid dreams to become a professional soccer player. From the moment they can walk boys kick a ball wherever they go, and this action becomes so addictive that some of them will do whatever it takes to keep doing this for a living.

The obligated question is: What is the difference between a guy who becomes a pro and the thousands or millions who are left behind? There is no simple answer because sometimes monetary interest comes in between and good players aren't considered if they aren't good enough from the coach's point of view.

The myths and realities about jogging and weight loss

Many people get discouraged after spending time on the treadmill or out on the streets jogging to lose weight without the proper results. Frustration and doubt come along because they are not provided with the right information about what it takes to burn fat with exercise.

The body is a great machine and you have to stimulate it in a proper manner to get the desired outcome. What I am saying is that not every effort has the same effect, and understanding this is crucial to your success. There are two important concepts you have to keep in mind the next time you start training, which will make your routines enjoyable and goal oriented:
